It’s been so long since IV has be a part of the in-person self defense class so we’re beyond excited to have the project back and rolling in the community! If you’re going to be in Nuwuvi/Las Vegas territory on July 28th feel free to register as space is limited.

Register here!

This beginner’s self defense class will be a monthly event with the first class happening at the University of Las Vegas (UNLV) inside the Recreation & Wellness Center – Floor Arts Room from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday. July 28th. There is no fee to attend however you must register through Eventbrite. IV has been working with Fifth Sun and Her 38 Roses since the Spring and we’re excited to bring these classes to the Nuwuvi lands where there is a healthy Indigenous community eager to learn how to empower themselves through self defense and learn about the MMIW & MMIP crisis in our communities.

This class is focused on MMIW, domestic violence, sexual assault survivors, and our underserved communities. If you cannot make it to one of our classes but want to support future classes, please donate to IV here! All of our MMIW work is made possible by our funders and through donations. Thank you for your support!
