The IV Cultural Humility facilitator team made their way to Treaty 7, in what is now known as Calgary, for the first in-person and Canadian side training! A big thank you to everyone who braved the snowy roads to attend the two day session. It was truly an honor to share such a welcoming space with so many great people at The Blackfoot Confederacy.

A total of 17 participants showed up with open minds and hearts to take in the cultural humility curriculum originally developed by Dr. Melanie Tervalon and Dr. Jann Murray-Garcia. Everyone who attended are now able to share the principles and practices of cultural humility with their own work spaces. Attendees came from as far as Ottawa, Ontario to take part in our collective space of growth and humility.
With such a successful training, Indigenous Vision is already considering hosting another in-person Cultural Humility ‘Training of Trainer’ in early 2027 at the same wonderful location inside the Blackfoot Confederacy.
